Stefan Barbulescu is a new generation farmer, with a deep interest, knowledge and experience in ecological and regenerative agriculture methods.
When Ștefan started raising cows, his goal was simple - to produce the healthiest and tastiest meat available on the market, in a way he learned from his grandfather Iosif.
Stefan combines traditional farming methods with more modern holistic grazing practices to improve soils and enrich the environment.
Stefan's goal has always been to produce quality meat, which is 100% traceable and with total transparency in the way it is produced. His efforts have been appreciated not only by the international clients he serves, but also by the local press and television.
Wild Romania
Romania is one of the last wild places in Europe, with the highest level of biodiversity, virgin forests, mountains and natural springs. A place where the native community lives in close harmony with nature, surrounded by Carpathians.
The farm
We are a boutique-scale regenerative farm located in a beautiful valley in the foothills of the Romanian Carpathians. Located a few hours by car from the capital Bucharest.
Hundreds of years of small-scale agriculture, without chemicals and overwork, have contributed to the high biodiversity and wildlife in this area.
Surrounded by old oak forest, the meadows and pastures are full of wild bees, butterflies, insects and healing herbs. More than 300 species and six natural water springs are found in the wild pastures, where cattle graze on the plant-rich meadows, which are later transformed into a unique, "nutty" tasting meat.
90% of the beef produced on the farm is purchased by Michelin-starred restaurants abroad.
